Aeratis Classic Tongue-and-Groove Porch Flooring

Aeratis Classic Tongue-and-Groove Porch Flooring

Aeratis Classic come in 3 standard colors: Weathered Wood, Redwood/Mahogany and White Cedar. Each color was selected to match typical wood species historically used for tongue and groove porch flooring.

Great care and time was spent on creating the perfect surface texture. Historically the porch floor was a smooth, finished board, like the floors on the interior of the home.  Carpenters and tradesman went to great lengths with on-site planing and sanding to get this finished look.

Deep embossing on a front porch plank, designed to imitate a rough cut board, collect dirt, mold and mildew and compromise the architectural integrity of the home.  Boards with this look and feel and are much better suited for a deck application.  The porch floor is supposed to have a refined, finished look… never the look of splintering or aged boards.

With Aeratis, we add just a hint of surface grain to really show the depth and look of wood, but not so deep that it traps dirt and gives mold a place to grow.  To add to this finished look, Aeratis’s surface is also ADA (American Disability Association) slip compliant. This makes Aeratis the perfect product for commercial applications, as well as homes with children and seniors where slipping is a concern.

Aeratis Classic can be painted or left natural. You can paint Aeratis any color you would like and still maintain a full warranty (for best results when painting, see paint instructions).  Aeratis Traditions is a paint-ready product specifically formulated for a painted porch application.  Both have a 5-A paint adhesion and won’t chip or peel.
