  • Please note: Aeratis has been tested and exceeds all live load requirements when installed at 16" on center. Installing Aeratis porch flooring at a joist span greater than 16" OC could result in voiding of the warranty. If you have installed Aeratis porch flooring on a span greater than 16"OC your warranty will not be valid unless a warranty certificate is provided and approved by an executive of Aeratis Porch Products.
  • Proper framing must be placed under Aeratis porch flooring to support the weight of the structure. Aeratis should never be used along to support columns, posts or any structural member supporting a roof, balcony or ceiling. If proper framing support is not used, this will void your Aeratis warranty.
In many municipalities across the US and Canada, exterior structures are required to be sloped 2% of the overall depth. The slope should be going away from the structure on all sides.
  • PLEASE NOTE: If you installed Aeratis parallel to the structure it is required to allow the boards to acclimated UNSTACKED for 24 to 48 hours in direct sunlight. It is required to fuse the butt joints with an approved glue. It is required to use 4 screws per joint. SEE Butt Joint Installation Video . Following these recommendations will help limit the chance for gaps to occur at the butt joints. Keep in mind, in many cases if your substructure moves, shrinks or crowns it will telegraph these changes visually in your Aeratis porch floor.
Please note: If you are fastening your Aeratis boards to pressure treated wood, you should check with the wood treater and ask what type of fastener should be used. When in doubt, it is always best to use stainless steel fasteners.
  • Please note: Aeratis Paint Ready Traditions must be painted for the warranty to be valid. If you do not use a recommended paint it could result in poor adhesion and poor performance. You should only use a recommended paint.
